JOHANNESBURG - The family of a Vaal business man, who has apparently been kidnapped in Pakistan, on Sunday appealed to the International Relations Department to help them find him.

It is understood Arshard Ali was on his way to board a plane to South Africa at the Lahore Airport on Tuesday when he was approached by four men who forced him into a white double cab vehicle.

Ali, who is also a chairperson for the African National Congress (ANC) in Meyerton was visiting his family when the incident occurred.

"They didn't tell us what they want," said his wife Emel Ali.

"They just took him.

"Can anybody help me in South Africa that I can go there and find my husband."
