Ajax Cape Town takes on Bidvest Wits on Friday night

CAPE TOWN - Ajax Cape Town coach Muhsin Ertuğral says his side is expecting physical onslaught when they face Bidvest Wits on Friday evening.

The Urban Warriors will be looking for their first league win of the season, something that won't come easily against a revitalised Wits side.

Ertuğral says they will have to counter the physicality of Wits.

"They are a great team, but they are also very physical. We will look to our own game and solutions in how we should be playing. I can see more and more we will be stabilised and hopefully we get a point or points."

The coach says he and Gavin Hunt will put their friendship aside for the game.

"He's a good friend of mine, but the friendship will be on the side for 90 minutes. I admire him as a long-term friend and hopefully afterwards we have a beer together."

Meanwhile Ajax goalkeeper Sean Roberts says they can beat any team when they are at their best.

"We know how Gavin plays; he likes the long ball. He has got big physical players and hopefully we can contend with that.

"We are ready for them."

Kick-off is at 8pm at the Bidvest Stadium in Johannesburg.
