Hunt still on for Shaskia Michaels

CAPE TOWN - Two men who were held for questioning in connection with the disappearance of a Mitchells Plain girl have been released from police custody.

Four-year-old Shaskia Michaels from her Freedom Park home last week. She was last seen playing outside her house.

The pair were taken in shortly after Michael's disappearance.

The police's Andre Traut says police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

"The circumstances surrounding the kidnapping of Shaskia are still being investigated as a very high priority."

Police are also trying to trace Robert Sylvester, a man who they believe can help find her.

Shaskia is said to be the neighbour of Kauthar Bobbs who disappeared while playing in the park near her home last October.

Police say there have been no new developments in Bobb's disappearance.
