CAPE TOWN - The Mitchells Plain Community Policing Forum (CPF) on Monday continued its search for a missing four-year-old girl.

Shaskia Michaels disappeared from her Freedom Park home while playing outside last week.

Her disappearance sparked renewed interest in her neighbour Kauthar Bobbs's case.

Bobbs disappeared while playing at a nearby park nearly a year ago.

The CPF's Lynn Phillips said, "We'll continue with the search but normally what happens is that the police can only go in certain areas, so we'll be waiting on that."

Cape Town Mayor Patricia de Lille has offered a R50,000 reward for information leading to any arrests.
