DURBAN - No goals were scored 25 minutes into the crucial World Cup qualifier match between Bafana Bafana and Botswana at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

But Kermit Erasmus quickly changed that, scoring the first goal for South Africa in the 30th minute.

Dean Furman netted his first for the team on the stroke of half-time.

The score now stands at: Bafana Bafana: 2 Botswana 0.

This is Bafana's last chance of keeping their World Cup qualifying campaign alive.

But as it stands Bafana will qualify for the third and final round of qualifying for the World Cup as Group A winners.
