CAPE TOWN - Missing Children South Africa has called on the Mitchells Plain community and surrounding areas to help search for a missing four-year-old girl.

Shaskia Michaels disappeared while playing outside her Freedom Park home in Mitchells Plain on Thursday morning.

She was left in the care of her grandfather.

It has also been reported the Shaskia is the neighbour of Kauthar Bobbs who also disappeared while playing in the park near her home last October.

Police say there have been no new developments in Kauthar's disappearance.

Missing Children South Africa's Nicky Rheeder says, "We urge the community to assist us in distributing flyers."

Meanwhile, an 11-year-old girl was found unharmed in Wallacedene on Thursday.

Aphiwe Songelwa was reported missing on Monday.

She was found at a friend's house.
