Four-year-old missing in Mitchells Plain

CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police are searching for a four-year-old girl who went missing in Mitchell Plain on Thursday morning.

According to non-profit organisation The Pink Ladies, Shaskia Michaels was left in the care of her grandfather.

The police's Andre Traut said, "Shaskia has frizzy hair and she was dressed in a pink polo neck when she disappeared."

Anyone with information can contact police.

Meanwhile, an 11-year-old Kraaifontein girl has been found unharmed.

Aphiwe Songelwa went missing from her house in Wallacedene on Monday.

She has since been reunited with her family.

Missing Children South Africa's Michelle Knowles says, "Songelwa has been found safe and unharmed by the Kraaifontein SAPS team. She was found at a friend's house in Wallacedene."
