Snow on Table Mountain & Helderbeg range
Parts of Table Mountain and the Helderberg Mountain Range are covered in a thin blanket of snow.
CAPE TOWN - Parts of Table Mountain and the Helderberg Mountain Range are covered in a thin blanket of snow this morning.
But weather forecaster Kate Turner says Capetonians should enjoy the snow while they can as it won't last for much longer.
"It will really only be a little bit of snow and it will melt very quickly. It also won't snow for very long."
Cape Town has experienced severe weather conditions over the last few weeks, with over 30,000 affected people.
Three people have died as a result of the cold and rain.
In the most recent incident, a homeless man who sought shelter with three other people in a cave in Hout Bay, was killed when it collapsed on them on Wednesday night.
The weather is expected to clear over the weekend, while another cold front is expected next week.
