JOHANNESBURG - In another victory for Drug Watch, a suspected drug manufacturer was arrest on Tuesday night.

The 25-year-old male was arrested in Mogale City, west of Johannesburg.

Police found drugs such as crystal meth and cat as well as chemicals used to manufacture drugs.

"He was in possession of drugs to the value of approximately R300, 000. The arrest was made possible due to information we received from the public through the Drug Watch campaign," said the police's Neville Malila.

The suspect is scheduled to appear in court later today.

Meanwhile, a suspected drug dealer was arrested two weeks ago after being found in possession of drugs with an estimated value of R300, 000 in Moreleta Park near Pretoria.

The police's David Miller said the suspect was apprehended during a road block.

Miller said authorities raided the suspect's home and seized various narcotics as well as a blue police vehicle light.

"They pulled over a suspect who was in possession of dagga. When they brought him into the station, they had established he had been arrested before and when they searched his premises, they found more drugs."

The man was arrested after an anonymous tip-off was given to Drug Watch.
