Australia wants answers on umpiring decision
The Australians are questioning a third umpire call in the latest Ashes test.
CAPE TOWN - Cricket Australia has written to the International Cricket Council for clarity over the controversial dismissal of batsman, Usman Khawaja.
He was given out caught behind on the advice of the third umpire on day one of the third Ashes test against England in Manchester, despite clearly not hitting the ball.
Chris Rogers, who made 84, was batting at the time with Khawaja.
"I felt for him, but it's been happening so we've just gotta get on with it and not worry about that and obviously try and have a good day."
The decision was the one blight in an otherwise commanding day for Australia.
Captain, Michael Clarke struck a century at Old Trafford that saw the visitors on 303 for 3 at stumps.
He finished on 125 not out and Steven Smith was on 70.
