CAPE TOWN - The safety and security of Cape Town cyclists is once again in the spotlight after two people were robbed in Tokai.

The Table Mountain National Park on Monday confirmed that the couple was accosted on Sunday afternoon and robbed of their bicycles.

The national park's Merle Collins said, "The rangers on duty in the Tokai Forest area were informed that a couple, while busy cycling, were accosted by two males and the man was assaulted with a stick."
