JOHANNESBURG - Joburg Police are still searching for the robbers responsible for the brutal murder of a domestic worker in Glenvista.

40-year-old Maboithatelo Taele was tied up and gagged on Thursday night while a group of robbers made off with stolen goods.

Employer Xolani Gumede says his wife discovered Taele's body in a cupboard.

Gumede says his family were very close to Taele who they affectionately nicknamed 'Elsie'.

"We are still struggling to come to terms with the loss."

Meanwhile, police say they will soon interrogate a former employee in the hope to find new leads in what they believe may have been an inside job.

The Gumede family are hoping that Taele's brother will allow them to be a part of the funeral arrangements.
