JOHANNESBURG - Cheetahs coach Naka Drotské has told EWN Spor t he is confident that Robert Ebersohn and Piet van Zyl will commit their futures to the union.

Both players are considering offers to leave - with Ebersohn set for a move to France while the Bulls are in negotiations with van Zyl.

They have been boosted recently as they have managed to sign long-term the likes of Trevor Nyakane, Adriaan Strauss and Willie le Roux among other.

The Cheetahs are currently in Canberra preparing for this weekend's Super Rugby play-off match against the Brumbies.

Drotské says they are waiting to hear the duo's decision.

"I think all the franchises are a little bit under pressure especially the Europe and the Japanese market. It's always going to be tough to keep the players but we are confident that they will accept and stay with the Cheetahs."

The Cheetahs rewrote history when they beat the Blues to secure their place in the knock-out stages of Super Rugby on Saturday.
