CAPE TOWN - Stormers forwards coach Matthew Proudfoot says matching the Bulls physicality will be crucial when the two sides lock horns at Newlands.

The Bulls are top of the overall table while the Stormers are playing for nothing more than pride.

Proudfoot says they know how important it is to match the Bulls pack.

"I think they've been the most accurate team in the Super Rugby competition so far. They're definitely very physical and that's why they are number one on the table so you've got to match those two elements."

Proudfoot says speed and accuracy on attack and at the breakdown could be the difference between the two sides.

"We've got emphasis on our attack and speed at breakdown and the Bulls are really good at that so we've taken special notice of this week."

The game kicks off at 7:10pm on Saturday.
