Swine flu has not spread to the Cape
The Cape Department of Health says there have been no reports of Swine flu in the Province.
CAPE TOWN - The Western Cape Health Department said on Friday there haven't been reports of people contracting Swine flu in the province.
At least two people in Gauteng have died after contracting the H1N1 strain.
The department said elderly, pregnant women, those with chronic diseases and young children are at risk of contracting the virus.
The department's Faiza Steyn said, "We're now in July but it is never too late to vaccinate. We're asking that individuals who are at risks for complications of influenza to go and get their flu vaccine."
