JOHANNESBURG - The hunt continues for those guilty of killing young lesbian Duduzile Zozo in the Thokoza township on Johannesburg's East Rand.

The 26-year-old victim's half naked body was discovered at the weekend and it is believe she was raped with a toilet brush after it was found lodged in her vagina.

It's believed she was raped and murdered for being openly gay.

Gay Rights organisation OUT's Dawie Nel said people cannot be cured of homosexuality.

"I think it's a simple message that you cannot change someone's homosexuality, either by therapy or raping them."

He said all South Africans are equal, no matter their sexuality.

"Gay people and heterosexual people are equal, they should have the same dignity and the same rights."

Police have not yet made any arrests and are urging the public to come forward with any information.
