SA artists hope to clinch BET award
All eyes will be on Los Angeles tonight for the BET awards.
LOS ANGELES - South Africa's hopes of bringing home a Black Entertainment Television (BET) award on Sunday night lie with two local musicians.
Donald and Toya Delazy are up for Best International Act at the BET awards ceremony in Los Angeles tonight.
Singer Donald told Eyewitness News he is looking forward to the ceremony.
"I cannot wait to see R. Kelly back on stage and Stevie Wonder."
He is also hoping either he or Toya Delazy take home the coveted price.
"We are with the best [musicians] in the world; giving us hope that we can also get to their level."
The BET awards have become a highlight on the entertainment calendar.
