More cold fronts for Cape Town
The South African Weather Service said Capetonians should brace themselves for more cold fronts.
CAPE TOWN - The South African Weather Service (SAWS) on Monday said Capetonians should brace themselves for more cold fronts over the next couple of days.
A front moved across the Cape Peninsula on Monday and another system was expected to move in on Tuesday.
SAWS said the frontal systems will bring bigger waves, gale force winds and showers.
Forecaster Carlton Phyllis said this is the season for frontal systems.
"These frontal systems are our main rain producing systems. We are expecting another frontal system to move through during the course of Wednesday. There are some weak ones in the wake of the one today."
