CAPE TOWN - Springbok Under-20 winger Luther Obi on Thursday said they've prepared for an explosive game of running rugby when they take on host nation France at the Junior World Championships.

The Baby Boks top their group, but a win will guarantee them a semi-final spot.

The French are in a desperate situation, needing a four try bonus point victory to advance.

Obi says this will make for an exciting game.

"The French flair is a very big part of our game and with them having to score four tries, we expect them to pretty much run the ball from a lot of places. We have to be sharp in defence and clinical in attack."

The Boks kept the USA scoreless in their opening match.

They will be hoping to replicate that defensive effort against a more potent French unit.

"Hopefully it'll be low score like we got against the USA."

Baby Boks coach Dawie Theron said beating the French side at home is their number one objective.

"For us, this is the most important game of this tournament. We want to go flat out for this game and we want to be on top [of the log] after this game, that's what we're focused on."

The match kicks off at 8:45pm.
