Chiefs secure trophy double

DURBAN - Thousands of soccer fans partied the night away after Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions Kaizer Chiefs won their second trophy of the season.

Chiefs beat SuperSport United 1-0 in the Nedbank Cup final on Saturday before a capacity crowd at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

The trophy double means Amakhosi end their season on high.

Last week, Kaizer Chiefs was crowned PSL champions ending their eight-year league drought.

These fans said they were elated by their team's achievements.

"We knew we were always going to win," one supporter said.

Another added, "This is our year; our year of glory."
