JOHANNESBURG - Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund on Friday announced his squad to play against the Central African Republic (CAR) and Ethiopia in the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Bafana will first play CAR in Cameroon and then travel to Addis Ababa to take on Ethiopia.

Igesund has called up defenders Tsepo Masilela, Tefo Mashamaite, Siboniso Gaxa and Bevan Fransman.

Also returning to the squad are Thandani Ntshumayelo, Tlou Segolela, Richard Henyekane and Katlego Mashego.

Igesund said he selected an offensive squad because he wants to solve the goal scoring problem in Bafana.

"Goals win matches and I'm quite sure that we will score goals. Against CAR, we scored two goals and we did miss a lot of good opportunity to score four or five. The positive thing is that we're creating those opportunities and players are getting confidence."
