CAPE TOWN - Ajax Cape Town Coach Muhsin Ertugral on Tuesday finally spoke about Marc Overmars' comments.

The Ajax Amsterdam director of football criticised the appointment of Ertugral after the departure of Jan Versleijen.

Versleijen took charge of Ajax in January when Maarten Stekelenberg was sacked for poor results.

Meanwhile, the Urban Warriors are yet to lose under Ertugral who joined in April.

Ertugral said Overmars' comments made him angry.

"It made me angry because I don't think he had all the facts. He hasn't been to South Africa or watched some games here."

Ertugral said they were focused on getting out of the relegation zone.

"At this point in time there are no egos. It's all about saving this club from potential relegation."

The Cape side is currently number 14 on the log after 13 loses this season.

They take on Golden Arrow on Saturday.
