Rhino poachers arrested

Two Mozambiquan nationals were caught in the Kruger National Park.

JOHANNESBURG- Two Mozambiquan men were arrested in the Kruger National Park on Friday for rhino poaching.

The two suspects, who had a hunting rifle and two rhino horns in their possession, were taken into custody close to the Pafuri border.

Officers found the rhino carcass the next day.

The men will appear in the Makhado Magistrates Court on Monday on charges of the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition as well as charges of rhino poaching.
