CAPE TOWN - Ajax Cape Town coach Muhsin Ertugral on Monday said he is angry that Abia Nale will not be playing against Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday.

Nale was sent off in their derby with Chippa United on Saturday after getting a second yellow card.

Ertugral, who was not on the bench for the match, said the technical team should have taken him off after the first yellow.

"It was my immediate reaction that he must go off. There was a communication breakdown and in that moment, he got the red.

"I think what happened last season was he wanted to prove a point to Kaizer Chiefs that it was a mistake to release him. Not having Abia angers me."

Ertugral also believes Matthew Booth will be a vital player as they fight relegation.

Booth helped the team get a point against Chippa, despite being a man down.

Ertugral said Booth is a gem of player.

"If we had four or five Matthew Booths in South Africa, local football would be in a different condition."
