JOHANNESBURG - Former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brian Baloyi said the pressure is on the Amakhosi to win this year's ABSA Premier Soccer League (PSL) title.

On Sunday, Chiefs face Platinum Stars in Polokwane, Limpopo.

The Stars are the only team to have beaten Chiefs this season.

Baloyi said it has been an interesting season so far.

"We like to see a little bit of competition. With the league not being decided, we would love to see it go down to the wire. There's no pressure on Platinum Stars. The pressure is all on Chiefs."

The former keeper pointed out that Chiefs are in charge of their own destiny heading into Sunday's fixture.

"It's all in their hands. Platinum Stars have been the surprise package in the league this season. Chiefs only have one loss this season and Platinum Stars coincidentally are the only team to have beaten Chiefs."

Platinum Stars are only six points behind Chiefs and a win on Sunday could see them put pressure on the Amakhosi heading into the remaining four games of the season.

Pirates will be hoping Platinum Stars will be able to them a favour heading into their own match against Bidvest Wits on Saturday.

If Stars can beat Chiefs, the Buccaneers still have a chance winning the ABSA PSL title.

But the reigning champions have difficult final games against Mamelodi Sundowns and Wits.
