Tutu in hospital

The archbishop will undergo a series of tests to discover the cause of a persistent infection.

CAPE TOWN - Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu has checked into a local hospital where he will undergo a series of tests to discover the cause of a persistent infection.

The Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation said his condition is not at all serious.

The foundation added Tutu was in high spirits before booking into hospital.
