Pakistani killers to apply for bail
A bail hearing for 3 men accused of murdering 4 Pakistani men in Mitchells Plain will happen in May.
CAPE TOWN - Three men charged with the murders of four Pakistani nationals are expected to apply for bail next month.
The trio appeared in the Mitchells Plain Magistrates court on Wednesday.
The Pakistani men were gunned down at a home in Rocklands last month in what is believed to have been a hit.
It emerged in court one of the accused, Yazeed Hendricks, had a bullet in his leg which may link him to last month's shooting.
Prosecutors want the bullet to be removed, but Hendricks told the court that it's been in his leg for the past 18 years.
Doctors also confirmed that removing the bullet may damage nerves in his leg.
But the state wants a second opinion.
