JOHANNESBURG - An emergency meeting between the South African Football Association (Safa), world football governing body FIFA and Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula has been called off as all parties are still coordinating their agendas.

The aim of the meeting was to ensure all parties are heading in the same direction in their investigation into match fixing allegations involving games played by Bafana Bafana in the build up to the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

At the weekend Mbalula was quoted saying he will travel to Zurich, Switzerland in an attempt to convince FIFA to allow him to appoint a judicial commission of inquiry to investigate the matter.
