JOHANNESBURG - African National Congress (ANC) Secretary Gwede Mantashe said on Wednesday the party's top leaders are still processing information given to them after newly-elected National Executive Committee member was arrested and charged with fraud.

Miriam Segabutla was arrested last week for charges relating to her time as the Limpopo Health and Social Development MEC.

In December, ANC delegates passed a resolution calling on party leaders to resign if they are accused of serious wrongdoing.

Mantashe said the ANC are still deciding what to do.

"The call will be on the leaders of the ANC to take a decision on what to do."
