A 58-year-old man has been arrested for Happy Sindane’s murder.
JOHANNESBURG - A man has been arrested in connection with Happy Sindane's murder.
The 28-year-old was found stoned to death in Tweefontein, Mpumalanga during the early hours of Monday morning.
Police said he may have known his attacker
Police spokesperson Leonard Hlathi said they have arrested a 58-year-old man who was allegedly a friend of Happy Sindane.
"We know they knew each other because they were enjoying themselves together wherever they were. We also got some information that they used to sit in one place and enjoy themselves."
Hlathi said more suspects may still be at large, but at this stage it is unclear how many.
Meanwhile, the man who was arrested in connection with the crime is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
Sindane made headlines a decade ago when he claimed he had been kidnapped from his white parents by a black family when he was just six-years-old.
