CAPE TOWN - The Western Cape Health Department said on Saturday, six of the injured in the Hex River bus crash remain in a stable condition in hospital.

24 Khayelitsha church members died when the vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and crashed outside De Doorns two weeks ago.

38 passengers were injured.

Health spokesperson, Jo-Anne Otto, said all the patients are recovering well.

“We have six patients left in hospitals.

“One at Red Cross Hospital, two at Groote Schuur and three at Tygerberg - they are all stable.

“It is difficult to say when they will be discharged but they are all doing well.”
