Cape Town ready to support Bafana
The City of Cape Town has urged football fans to come out in their green and gold to support Bafana.
CAPE TOWN - City bosses say it is all systems go ahead of the clash between Bafana Bafana and Central African Republic at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.
The stadium gates will open just after 5pm with the soccer match planned to commence three hours later.
The city's Grant Pascoe says they are seeing a steady flow in ticket sales.
"We've sold just around 24,000 tickets and we're still positive that we will get to our 40,000 mark."
Pascoe asked for the public's co-operation to make the event a success.
"People have to obey the rules and make this thing a success. They must come and support Bafana Bafana in their gold and green."
The game kicks off at 8:15pm.
It is vital for Bafana to win the game as their next games will be away to Ethiopia and the Central African Republic.
