JOHANNESBURG - Kaizer Chiefs manager Bobby Motaung and his business partners, who have been charged with fraud, will be facing an additional count of corruption when they appear in Nelspruit Magistrate Court on Monday.
The charges are related to the construction of the R1, 2 billion, 40,929-seat Mbombela Stadium west of Nelspruit.
Together with the co-director and former financial officer of his company Lefika Emerging Equity, Motaung was arrested following a brief court appearance on Friday.
The Hawks Paul Ramoloko said they have been released on R15, 000 bail each.
"We are not pressing charges of fraud and corruption against the company's three directors, its municipal manager and chairperson."
