Complaints stream in after RHCP concert
Hundreds of people took to social networking sites to complain about the Red Hot Chilli peppers concert.
JOHANNESBURG - Organisers of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers Concert at FNB Stadium in Soweto at the weekend said most of the complaints were about excessive drinking by fans.
Hundreds of people took to social network sites after the concert on Saturday night, complaining about poor organisation, lack of security and long queues.
Concert goers also complained of the staff's unwillingness to assist and expressed their disgust and anger when staff didn't know what was going on.
Big Concerts Director Justin Van Wyk said, "90 percent of the complaints we were getting were because of one drunk guy. We had five security guards in hospital, who were just punched."
He said they will be deploying more security at future events.
Meanwhile the New Age newspaper reported some concert goers complained about alleged bribery of security guards for access into the golden circle.
