City Power strike continues
Management is still considering the demands put forward by striking workers.
JOHANNESBURG - City Power officials on Saturday said they will continue holding talks with workers who are on strike over a dispute over bonuses.
At least 100 workers at the power utility's Booysens branch embarked on a strike this week.
But City Power's Sol Masolo has reassured residents that the mass action will not affect services.
"In essence, management is still considering the demands that were put [forward] by labour. We should be able to go back to labour sometime next week."
