DURBAN - Bafana Bafana have vowed to fight for South Africa when they take on Morocco in their Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) clash on Sunday evening.

Bafana currently top group A and are on the verge of advancing to the quarterfinals of the tournament.

All they need is a draw to qualify, following their win against Angola on Wednesday.

Bafana coach Gordon Igesund says his side wants to win Afcon and therefore, there is still a lot of work to be done.

"Just qualifying for the quarterfinals will be a nice achievement. It would be something very special."

Captain Bongani Khumalo says there is pressure on the team, but they can handle it.

"When you in this game, you want to achieve great things. In order to achieve great things, you need to be able to perform under pressure and obviously, it's up to us to make sure that we are proud of ourselves on Sunday and that we progress."

The match will take place at Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium.

All 45,000 tickets are sold out.
