JOHANNESBURG - The Hawks in the past week arrested 11 men in connection with a spate of ATM bombings in KwaZulu-Natal.
A group of ten, who were found with explosives and firearms were arrested near the Mozambican border on Sunday.
The other one was apprehended earlier last week.
There have been reports that a gang of white men with military training are behind the spate of ATM bombings in Durban.
But Hawks spokesperson Paul Ramaloko has denied the claims and said more arrests were pending.
"We are confident that we managed to close the net for this syndicate, and it is not a white syndicate at all.
"We are confident that we arrested most of them and expect to arrest not more than five more."
The group will appear in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
