JOHANNESBURG - The mother of the six-month-old boy, who was kidnapped from his Bez Valley home in Johannesburg on Tuesday, said she was relieved to have her baby back in her care.

Revelation Jones was snatched, allegedly by a Pakistani couple, who were tenants at the home.

The Jones family was filled with joy and laughter as they celebrated the boy's return.

Revelations' mother, Khanyisile, said the past few days were "incredibly difficult" for her.

"I did not eat for three days."

The infant was found in a home in Boksburg, south of Johannesburg, following a tip-off from a community member to the police on Thursday.

The couple who kidnapped the baby had allegedly sent an SMS to the parents demanding a R100,000 ransom.

The Pakistani couple has since been arrested.
