R200k reward offered by Hawks
Hawks make renewed calls for the public to come forward with any information they might have.
JOHANNESBURG - South African crime-fighting unit, the Hawks, has renewed its call for any information related to a top ANC official in the North West was gunned down in the drive way of his house.
The party's regional secretary David Mosiane Chika was shot at point-blank range in the driveway of his home in Alabama, Klerksdorp earlier in December.
Police said a man ambushed Chika while he was driving into his home and fled the scene.
The Hawks' Paul Ramaloko said there's a R200 000 reward for anyone with information.
"Whoever has information in this regard can call Col. Kgorane who is heading the team that has been dedicated to this case on 082 492 3921."
