CAPE TOWN - The Grassy Park Community Policing Forum at the weekend expressed its concerned that the search for a missing 11-year-old Parkwood girl is not being well coordinated.

Jennifer Williams was last seen at an informal gaming arcade in Parkwood on Thursday.

She was wearing a two piece yellow and black bathing costume at the time of her disappearance.

The Grassy Park CPF's Phillip Bam said the community must get involved in the search for the young girl.

"There should be a task team and a control centre should be set up including the CFP so that the community can help with the search. This hasn't happened and I think we may have better success if it is coordinated better."

Phillip Bam said, "We cannot only depend on the normal patrols. We're just hoping the child is unharmed and will be found."
