JOHANNESBURG - Police arrested an officer in Alexandra on Friday, after he allegedly accepted a bribe of R10,000 to destroy a docket.

The 42-year-old officer, who was based in the docket store, is accused of accepting a bribe from a man allegedly involved in a house robbery and hijacking case.

He was apprehended when the money was transferred to his account.

The Hawks Paul Ramaloko says the officer faces charges of corruption when he appears in court on Monday.
