JOHANNESBURG - A Free State traffic officer has been sentenced to three years in prison for bribery by the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court on Monday.
In March, Macdough Mochoari asked a truck driver to give him money and food near Glen in the Free State.
On Monday, the 41-year-old was found him guilty of corruption and was also declared unfit to possess a firearm.
