JOHANNESBURG - ANC Kwazulu-Natal chair Zweli Mkhize on Saturday said the party will come out of the Mangaung conference more united than before.

Mkhize said delegates from the province want President Jacob Zuma to lead the party for a second term.

The province which is understood to be a Zuma stronghold, held its nominations conference on Saturday.

Mkhize said there has been no question about who they want as president.

As it is the biggest province in the ruling party, KZN will send more than 900 delegates to the Mangaung conference next month.

Mkhize said the province will go to Mangaung to unify the ANC.

"The conference looks as it will have many fights, but we are saying it can't be like that. This conference is very important to the ANC."
