Good year for most companies
Most workers can look forward to a 13th cheque next month, according to a labour advisor.
CAPE TOWN - A local labour advisor on Friday said after a two-year slump in the economy, employees can expect something extra in their Christmas stocking.
Michael Bagram, whose company surveyed dozens businesses, said many workers can expect a 13th cheque in December.
He said many employers are in a better position to give their staff bonuses, when compared to 2011.
"It's a much better year. We're seeing the results coming through. People are very happy about what's happening. We are expecting that people will get anything up to 100 percent or at least as low as 50 percent of the 13th cheque."
