JOHANNESBURG - The Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) has begun rallying support for a massive protest against e-tolling at the end of November.

The trade union federation filed a notice to protest with National Economic Development and Labour Council (Nedlac) on Thursday.

The notice said the protest action will last until December 7.

Cosatu General-Secretary Zwelinzima Vavi told hundreds of people in Lenasia that the public cannot sit back and watch.

"We will be there to say we will not allow you to milk us."
