Gangs shoot CPT girl in the face

A 12-year-old girl was shot in the face when she was caught in gang crossfire.

CAPE TOWN - No arrests have yet been made in two separate gang-related shootings over the weekend, Western Cape police said on Monday.

A teenage girl was struck in the face in Grassy Park.

The police's Andre Traut said: “The circumstances surrounding a shooting incident in Grassy Park are being investigated. A 12-year-old girl sustained a gunshot wound to the face when she was caught in the crossfire between gangsters.”

A 22-year-old Hanover Park man was shot and killed on Sunday and three others wounded during an incident in Surwood Walk.
