Three arrested for Limpopo orphan murders
Limpopo police have arrested six teenage boys in connection with the murder of three children.
JOHANNESBURG - Limpopo police on Thursday arrested six teenage boys in connection with the murder of three orphaned children aged between 8 and 12.
The teenagers are due to face murder and rape charges in the Mookgopong Magistrate's Court on Friday.
In August, the group of boys allegedly stoned to death brothers Bafana and Hosea Kekana, and their cousin Johanna.
The trio was found in Naboomspruit with their hands and feet bound with shoelaces.
They were reported missing after they failed to return to the Montadi Youth Care Centre where they lived.
Police spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi said the teens were also accused of raping the 12-year-old girl.
