Search underway for missing scuba divers
KwaZulu-Natal authorities are searching for nine scuba divers that disappeared on Sunday morning.
CAPE TOWN - A massive search is underway for nine scuba divers who went missing off the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.
It is understood the skipper of their charter boat lost sight of the divers in rough sea and wind conditions on Sunday morning.
The National Sea Rescue Institute's Craig Lambinon says authorities from both Shelly Beach and Port Edward, including some private boats, have pooled resources to look for the group of people.
"Two rescue helicopters have also been brought in to help with the search."
