Police manage Linkin Park concert traffic
Police urged motorists to drive with caution as the roads in and around Jo'burg were wet.
JOHANNESBURG - The Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) on Saturday warned motorists to expect delays when travelling on the M1 south and the N17 on Saturday evening.
Traffic officers were directing traffic around FNB stadium and surrounding areas, ahead of the Linkin Park concert.
Police urged motorists to drive with caution as most roads were wet due to heavy rain fall in the afternoon.
“Traffic is already heavy here on the N1 South at the N17 offramp and the Rand Show offramp, as Metro Police Officers are on duty and are directing the traffic into the parking areas around the Linkin Park concert,” said JMPD's Wayne Minnaar.
