Chippa hope to turn things around
Newly appointed Chippa United caretaker coach Farouk Abrahams says his team’s confidence is high.
CAPE TOWN - Chippa United caretaker coach Farouk Abrahams on Monday said the players have reacted well to his appointment.
He has been filling in as head coach for the past week, after the club parted ways with Roger Sikhakhane for the second time this season.
Chippa host SuperSport United at Athlone Stadium on Tuesday.
The Chilli Boys have been struggling in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) only managing to win a single game.
They are currently second from bottom of the log.
Abrahams said the team needs to put what they have learnt to practice.
"I'm not saying I'm the Messiah, but the spirit in the club is sky-high and we need to start winning."
Kickoff is at 7:30pm.
